  1. Q: Do I need to register for the conference in order to guarantee accommodation?

    A: Yes, please do register at the LASSNet registration page. We hope you have already done so. If not, first time users please login to the url with

    Also, those who have registered please assist our efforts by updating your latest details on the site—especially travel specifics about when and how you will be arriving and departing.

  2. Q: If I need technical assistance during my session will this be available at the venue?

    A: All venues at LASSnet are media ready and no special requests need to be made if you'd like to use video/ppts etc. It would be advisable to bring your own laptop though and tech support is availanle on hand and in real time. At this point, we are not requesting any advance notice for your multimedia demands.

  3. Q: Where are most sessions held?

    A: Please refer to the map of the venue below. The keynotes and plenary sessions will be held in the Performing Arts Studio near the Dining Hall. The parallel sessions will be mainly held in two classrooms called Chanakya and four called Tagore.

    A: Those intending to attend the conference, but not presenting a paper or chairing a session at it, please send Siddharth Narrain or Sruti Chaganti an email at lassnet2010 [at] gmail [dot] com with a subject title “Non Participant Registration” with your name, affiliation and the dates on which you will be attending the conference.
